The glitches aren't bad and the hacking doesn't prevent you from playing the game normally. Maybe once a week you'll get wiped out by some guy hacking, but they're active in banning such people, and you just respawn (nothing is lost on death) and ...

The bugginess/etc difference between Dust and Planetside 2 isn't worth commenting on. Both Dust and PS2 have performance issues, have bugs, have stuff that needs to be fixed via rebalancing. Neither game strikes me as any better balanced, less bug...

Battle rank in the game is a cosmetic/utility thing. All it does is unlock titles, decals, and load-out configuration slots for your weapons or vehicles. You don't gain hit points or something when you level. There is no combat-related difference ...
